If your computer has reset itself, the following are the possible causes:

  • Ransomware attack
  • Corrupted user profile
  • Malware attack

Use the following fixes for this issue:

BIOS Recovery mode has been detected

If your computer shows Warning! BIOS Recovery mode has been detected message when you turn it on, and you cannot boot into Windows, the solutions provided in this article will help you. This error message is associated with computers with ASUS motherboards.

BIOS Recovery mode has been detected.

Please put the file “PX570P.CAP” into HDD or a removable USB media device, and then reset your computer. You can also insert ASUS Support CD to your CD-ROM and reset your computer. Once you have done this, please wait for a moment and don’t shutdown system!?? The system will automatically reboot.

What is this mentioned CAP file?

The PX570P.CAP is a BIOS recovery file used by ASUS motherboards. Depending on your ASUS motherboard, your system requires a different CAP file. Therefore, you may see a different file name in the BIOS recovery mode error message, such as TGX570P.CAP is the BIOS update file for TUF Gaming X570-Plus ASUS motherboards, SX470FG.CAP is the BIOS update file for ASUS ROG XTRIX X470-F Gaming motherboards, X299E3.CAP is the BIOS update file for ASUS Prime X299 Edition motherboards, etc.

How to find the required CAP file?

The required CAP file is present in the BIOS update package available on the official website of ASUS. You just have to download the right BIOS update file for your computer motherboard from the official website of ASUS. Once you download the BIOS update file, extract the file and open the extracted folder. It contains two files, one is the CAP file and the other is the Renamer file. When you run the Renamer file as an administrator, it automatically renames the CAP file to the one required by your motherboard to recover BIOS.

If you see the WARNING! BIOS Recovery mode has been detected on starting your computer and cannot boot into Windows, use these fixes:

  1. Clear CMOS
  2. Recover BIOS
  3. Your motherboard may be faulty

All these fixes are explained in detail below:

Something went wrong with the projection error on Windows 11

Windows was created to build an operating system that enhances a user’s productivity. Hence, modern computers running Windows 11/10 have capabilities to project their screen to an external display wirelessly. Microsoft has a pre-installed and dedicated app — Connect, which helps another device project their screen on the computer. But this feature is really delicate. It will not work properly if not configured properly. And if some configuration does not work out well, it will display an error – Something went wrong with the projection.

DiskPart has encountered an error: access is denied

DiskPart is a useful utility for managing disks on a computer. Even if the GUI-based disk management tools on the Windows 11/10 operating system fail, DiskPart always tends to work. However, this does not mean that it cannot encounter errors. If you see a message saying DiskPart has encountered an error, Access is denied, then we will show you what you need to do to fix the problem.

This error is caused due to a number of factors.  It could be that the Write-Protection is enabled for the drive on which the operation is being performed, or the Command Prompt terminal does not have administrator-level permissions.

  1. Run the Command Prompt with Administrator-level permissions.
  2. Remove Write-Protection from the drive
  3. Use third-party software to perform the operation.

Disk Unknown not initialized, can’t initialize disk in Windows 11

If you have installed a new internal or external hard drive or SSD, and its status on the left side of the Disk Management Tool displays Disk 1, Unknown Not Initialized then it means that Windows can’t the initialize disk and you, therefore, are not able to use the hard drive or SSD. This can happen randomly even with existing drives and if you face this error, here is what you can do about it.

Many a time your partition or drive does not appear in File Explorer. To check if it’s physically there, open the Disk Management. Check if you see it as Not Initialized. If yes, then it simply means that the disk doesn’t have a valid signature, i.e., it’s not properly registered with the system. A disk is registered when you format it at least once. If the disk was available before, then its probably corrupted somehow.

To fix this Unknown Not Initialized error follow these suggestions:

  1. Initialize disk manually
  2. Bring it Online & Add Drive Letter
  3. Check Device Manager for issues
  4. Check the cable physically.
