Get distracted seeing yourself on video? You can conceal your image from yourself, even as others continue to see you perfectly fine during Zoom meetings. This option isn’t available on a mobile device. The only thing you can do is hide your video altogether using the Stop Video button in Gallery View. However, that hides you from everyone else, too, which defeats the point of letting other participants see you while you hide from yourself.
Solutie
- Find your image on the gallery screen.
- Right-click your image to show a small pop-up menu.
- Click Hide Self View.
You’ll appear off-screen now to yourself, but others will still see you.
How to Show Yourself on Zoom Again
If you want to show yourself again, follow these steps:
- Hover your mouse anywhere over the meeting window.
- Locate the View menu at the top right of the screen.
- Click View.
- Click Show Self View.
You’ll be back on screen and can see yourself as others see you.
