How to Automatically Lock a Computer when you walk away

Use Case: Extra physical security in office or shared workspaces.

Steps:

Pair Your Phone to Your Computer via Bluetooth
- Linux: Use blueman or bluetoothctl
- Windows: Pair via Settings > Devices > Bluetooth
Install Proximity Software
- Linux: Install blueman and xautolock
  
  sudo apt install xautolock
- Use btprox (Windows) or bluProx (Mac)
Configure Proximity Trigger
- Set RSSI (signal strength) threshold to detect when your device is out of range.
- Lock the screen via xlock or rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
Test the Range and Sensitivity
- Walk away slowly and watch it lock!
- Adjust the timeout or threshold as needed.

Your computer now locks itself when you step away with your phone.
