iOS 26: Track Emailed Orders in Apple Wallet

In iOS 26, Apple Intelligence makes the Wallet app’s order tracking feature genuinely useful by scanning your email for shipping details.

The ability to track orders in Apple Wallet isn’t new – it’s actually been around since iOS 16. But if you’ve never noticed it before, don’t worry. Most people haven’t used it either.

The feature initially struggled because it relied on merchants to actively support it, but not many bothered. In fact, despite being available for years, order tracking in Apple’s Wallet app remained largely unused. But there’s a decent chance iOS 26 will change all that.

Order Tracking Meets Apple Intelligence
In iOS 26, Apple Intelligence now scans your emails to automatically extract order tracking information. This means virtually any online purchase that generates a confirmation email can now appear in the Wallet app.

The on-device AI identifies shipping details from emails sent by merchants or delivery carriers, then consolidates everything in the Wallet app’s Order Tracking page.

Just note that you’ll need an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, iPhone 17, or iPhone Air to access the improved order tracking, since Apple Intelligence isn’t available on older devices.

iOS 26: Use Live Translation in Messages

In iOS 26, seamless multilingual conversations in Messages are just a few taps away, thanks to Apple’s new Live Translation feature. When chatting with friends or colleagues who speak different languages, you can now see instant translations without breaking the flow of your conversation.

Live Translation is an Apple Intelligence feature, so you’ll need an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, iPhone Air, or iPhone 17 model to use it.

Tranlsation works with nine languages including Chinese (Mandarin, Simplified), French, German, Italian, English, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain). Your messages appear in both languages on your device, while recipients see everything in their preferred language, provided they are using a device running iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS Tahoe.

iPhone 17: Disable Center Stage Camera Auto-Zoom

On the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air, the new 18-megapixel Center Stage front camera features a square sensor that offers more flexibility in framing and composition. Center Stage will also auto-zoom to include everyone in a group selfie, but if you don’t like it, you can turn it off.

The Center Stage camera automatically adjusts its view depending on what’s happening in front of it. If you’re the only person in the shot, it keeps the frame tight for a more personal feel. As others join, the view zooms out to fit everyone in, with no need to adjust it yourself.

This dynamic feature reduces the chance of friends being cropped out in group photos. However, you may find that Center Stage is not zooming adequately for your particular needs, in which case you can disable the auto-zoom feature.

iOS 26 Screenshots: Turn Off Full-Screen Previews

Apple has modified the screenshot experience in iOS 26 to accommodate Visual Intelligence and its new Liquid Glass aesthetic. Taking a screenshot is still done by pressing the Side button and Volume Up button on your iPhone, but the interface has been redesigned, while there’s another change that might slow down your workflow if you’re used to the streamlined approach taken in iOS 18 and earlier.

If you regularly use Apple’s screen capture tools in iOS 18, you’ll know that screenshots appear as small thumbnails in the bottom-left corner that you can quickly tap to edit and save or ignore. This lets you continue using your iPhone without interruption, while still giving you the option to markup and/or share a screenshot when required.

In contrast, the new full-screen preview mode in iOS 26 displays your screenshot across the entire display by default, complete with editing tools and Visual Intelligence options at the bottom. While this gives you immediate access to cropping, markup, and AI-powered features, it may feel intrusive compared to iOS 18’s approach.

Disabling Full-Screen Previews
When you take your first screenshot after updating to iOS 26, you should see an on-screen prompt asking if you’d like to “Switch to Thumbnail View.” If you missed this opportunity or accidentally tapped “Not Now,” you can still revert to the old thumbnail approach, thanks to a new settings menu:
