You want to change the configuration of several ports and you want to do it all at once.

1. To enter the configuration mode of a several ports at once, you only need the following two commands:

config terminal (conf t)
interface range x-y – x and y are the first and the last interfaces where you want to modify something (ex: int Gi1/0/1-6)

2. At the end, after making the changes you needed, you will use:

end – to return to the EXEC mode
write – to save the settings made.
