Situatie
A black screen is a common issue during or after a new installation, and many times, it’s the graphic driver or another problem with the upgrade process. Since it can be difficult to find out the root of the problem, the easiest way to deal with this situation is to roll back to the previous version.

To uninstall and roll back to the previous version of Windows, use these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click the Recovery page on the right side.
- Under the “Recovery options” section, in the “Previous version of Windows” settings, click the Go back button.
- If the option is not available, you may need to use the reinstallation process as outlined below.
- Click the Go back to earlier build button.
After you complete the steps, you should wait until a new update that fixes the problem releases to try the upgrade again.
