How To Fix Windows 10 No Wifi Option In Settings Issue
Before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting steps listed below it’s best to restart your computer first. This action refreshes the operating system and remove any corrupt temporary data that could be causing the problem.

Check the WiFi adapter
If you just installed a WiFi adapter to your computer and it is not detected by Windows 10 then it might be placed incorrectly. Turn off your computer then remove the WiFi adapter. Connect it to your computer making sure that it is seated correctly.
Turn on your computer then check if the Windows 10 no WiFi option in Settings issue still occurs.
Turn on the WLAN Autoconfig setting
In order for the WiFi option to appear in the Settings the WLAN autoconfig service should be enabled. If this has been disabled then this might be what’s causing the problem.
- Type Services in the search bar then click on the Services app.
- In the Services window, locate the WLAN Autoconfig service.
- Right-click on it and select Properties.
- Change the Startup type to ‘Automatic’ and click Start to run the service.
- Click Apply and then hit OK.
Check if the Windows 10 no WiFi option in Settings issue still occurs.
Update the WiFi driver
This problem can be caused by an outdated WiFi driver. To check if this is the case, you will have to update the WiFi driver of your computer.
- Type Device Manager in the search bar then click on the Device Manager app to open it.
- Expand the Network adapters list.
- Locate your Wireless card, right-click it and select “Update driver”.
- Click “Browse my computer for driver software”.
- Select “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”.
- Click Next.
- Wait for it to complete.
Check if the Windows 10 no WiFi option in Settings issue still occurs.
Reinstall WiFi driver
This problem can be caused by a corrupted WiFi driver. To check if this is the case, you will have to update the WiFi driver of your computer.
- Type Device Manager in the search bar then click on the Device Manager app to open it.
- Expand the Network adapters list.
- Double-click it to open up Properties.
- Switch to the Driver tab and note down your driver details.
- Close the Properties window, right-click on your wireless card and click Uninstall.
- Go to your manufacturer’s website and download the latest drivers for your Wifi card.
- Install the drivers and then restart your computer.
Check if the Windows 10 no WiFi option in Settings issue still occurs.
