Situatie
The primary password in Firefox protects all locally store passwords and usernames.If you forgot it,you will end up being locked out of using many features of Firefox that require the password to be unlocked first.
ATTENTION: Resetting the password will reset ALL usernames and passwords saved in Firefox so before proceeding make sure you backed them up to be restored later.
Solutie
1.Go to the address bar in Firefox and paste the following and then tap enter:
chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xhtml
2.You will be sent to the reset page and will be given the option to reset the password after being asked if you are sure that you want to proceed.If you are sure then click the reset option.
You can restore the passwords afterwards using the backup you (hopefully) created before the reset and all the Firefox functions that were previously locked will be now unlocked.
