If you’re running Windows 10 and the wavestate is a firmware version above 1.0.6, the wavestate’s USB Network protocol needs to be set as NCM instead of RNDIS.
Solutie
1. Press Utility twice, then hold the SHIFT button and the press > (page -) button
2. Use the Page buttons to scroll down to USB Network and set it to NCM
-If you had to change it to NCM, you must power cycle the wavestate.
3. Connect the wavestate to your computer via USB
4. Right-click the Windows icon on your taskbar and select Device Manager
5. In Other Devices, check and make sure that CDC NCM is listed. If it isn’t showing up, disconnect and reconnect the wavestate from your computer.
6. Right-click on the NCM device, select Update driver, and then choose Browse my computer for driver software.
7. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
8. Select the Network adapter as the device type and click Next if necessary.
9. Select Microsoft as the Manufacturer, select UsbNcm Host Device as the Model, then click Next.
-If you receive a warning stating that installing the device is not recommended, click Yes.
10. After you have changed the USB protocol, launch the Software Updater, follow the on-screen prompts, then click Start to begin the update process.
