1. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 3.
2. The screenshot will be saved directly to your desktop by default.

Steps:

5. Take a Screenshot of the Touch Bar (for MacBook Pro Models with Touch Bar)

Steps:

1. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 6.
2. The screenshot of your Touch Bar will be saved to your desktop.

6. Edit Your Screenshots

Once you’ve taken a screenshot, a thumbnail will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen (macOS Mojave and later).

Steps:

1. Click the thumbnail to open the Markup tool.
2. Use the tools to:
   • Crop or resize the image.
   • Add annotations like text, shapes, or signatures.
3. Click “Done” to save your changes.

7. Share or Copy Screenshots

Sharing:

1. Right-click the screenshot file.
2. Select Share and choose an option like Mail, Messages, or AirDrop.

Copying:

1. Press Control (Ctrl) while taking a screenshot to copy it to your clipboard
2. Paste it into an application using Command (⌘) + V.
