Instalarea

Prima data instalam porturile(pentru cei ce nu ştiu “#” nu trebuie să-l puneţi)

# portsnap fetch extract

Sau dacă le avem instalate le dăm update

# portsnap fetch update

După instalăm webmin cu urmatoarea comanda:

# cd /usr/ports/sysutils/webmin
# make install clean

După intram în rc.conf prin urmatoarea comandă:

# ee /etc/rc.conf

şi adăugăm aici:

webmin_enable="YES"

salvaţi şi ieşiţi.

Configurare Webmin

Scriem urmatoarea comandă pentru a putea administra webmin:

# /usr/local/lib/webmin/setup.sh
După va aparea aşa: 

Webmin uses separate directories for configuration files and log files.
Unless you want to run multiple versions of Webmin at the same time
you can just accept the defaults.
Log file directory [/var/log/webmin]: [Apasă enter]

Webmin uses its own password protected web server to provide access
to the administration programs. The setup script needs to know :
- What port to run the web server on. There must not be another
web server already using this port.
- The login name required to access the web server.
- The password required to access the web server.
- If the webserver should use SSL (if your system supports it).
- Whether to start webmin at boot time.
Web server port (default 10000): [Apasă enter] sau modifică cu ce port vrei tu
Login name (default admin): un nume pentru account
Login password: [scrie parola]
Password again:[rescrie parola]
Use SSL (y/n): y

Cum pot să vad webmin?

Simplu, doar scrie în browser-ul tău:

http://domeniultau.ro:10000

sau

http://ip-ul-tau:10000
