Shortcuts are commonly accessed by using the Alt key (on PC computers), command key (on Apple computers), Ctrl, and Shift in conjunction with a single letter.
Solutie
Windows shortcuts:
- Shift + Alt + Printscreen -> high contrast mode
- Windows + D -> show destkop
- Windows + Ctrl + D -> open new virtual destkop
- Windows + Ctrl + F4 -> close the desktop you’re currently on
- Windows + Alt + D -> access calendar
- Alt + Spacebar: open menu for active program
Google Chrome shortcuts:
- Ctrl + T -> open new tab
- Ctrl + N -> open new window
- Ctrl + Shift + T -> reopen the last closed tab
- Ctrl + W -> close current tab
- Ctrl + D -> save the page as bookmark
- Ctrl + Shift + O -> bookmark manager
Mozilla Firefox shortcuts:
- Alt + left arrow -> back
- Alt + right arrow -> forward
- Ctrl + enter -> autocomplete and access a “.com” address
- Shift + enter -> autocomplete and access a “.net” address
- Ctrl + shift + Enter -> autocomplete and access a “.org” address
- Ctrl + Shift + Delete -> clear history
If you want to create your own keyboard shortcut for an application in Windows:
- right click on the program -> properties
- in “Shortcut” tab, click on “Shortcut key” box (will be “None” by default) and set your own shortcut
- Apply and OK to save
- next time when you want to open the program, you can do it by your keyboard shortcut
