Sharing your screen or a specific window during a Google Meet session can be a powerful tool for collaboration, presentations, and training sessions.

Joining the Google Meet Session:
- Access Google Meet through the web browser or the mobile app.
- Enter the meeting code or click on the meeting link provided by the organizer to join the session
Accessing Screen Sharing Options:
- Look for the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, where you’ll find various options.
- Locate the “Present now” button, a rectangle with an arrow pointing up.
Choosing What to Share:
- Click on the “Present now” button to reveal the sharing options.
- You’ll see three main options: “Your entire screen,” “A window,” and “A tab”:
- Select “Your entire screen” if you want to share everything displayed on your monitor.
- Choose “A window” to share a specific application or window that you have open.
- Opt for “A tab” to share a specific tab from your web browser, available only in Google Chrome.
*Only “Present a tab” option has the capability to share also the audio of your content.
Controlling the Shared Content:
- While sharing your screen or window, you can continue to navigate and interact with your computer as usual.
- Participants in the meeting will see everything displayed on the shared screen or window in real-time.
Ending Screen Sharing:
- When you’re ready to stop sharing your screen or window, locate the “Stop presenting” button.
- Click on it to cease sharing and your screen will return to normal.
