How to enable Windows 11 24H2 updates in WSUS

Situatie

Microsoft has released Windows 11 update 24H2, and you can now push this new update to older and supported versions of Windows 11.

Solutie

Start by launching the WSUS admin console on the Windows Server. Choose your WSUS server and click on Options. On the right-hand side, select Products and Classifications. In the Products tab, locate Windows 11 and enable it.

Along with Windows 11, the two other products related to Windows 11 24H2 include:

  1. Windows 11 Client, version 24H2 and later, Servicing Drivers
  2. Windows 11 Client, version 24H2 and later, Upgrade & Servicing Drivers

Enabling the above options is not mandatory. Click on Apply and OK.
