How To Remove Wallpaper History

In case you want to remove the history that shows the last wallpapers used, the instructions below will show you how to proceed in order to do that.

Press the Windows key + R at the same time, type regedit then click on OK to open the Registry Editor window.
Navigate to the location below in the Registry Editor window:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Wallpapers

On the right side there are five background history paths named from BackgroundHistoryPath0 to BackgroundHistoryPath5.

Right click on each of them and select Delete.
After doing this, press the Windows + I keys together and click on Personalization.
Below the Choose your picture line the previous images should be gone.

Permanent
