Type: start “Windows Power Shell ” and open the command prompt for Windows Power Shell.
Type: Rename-Computer -ComputerName “the current computer name”
NewName “the new computer name“
LocalCredential WS\Administrator
PassThru and press Enter to change the computer name.
Then type: -Force –Restart to force restart your computer.
