Connecting a Keyboard and Mouse to PS5
The PS5 supports a wide range of wired, wireless, or Bluetooth keyboards and mice. The easiest way to get started is to connect a keyboard and mouse to your PS5 over USB. You can plug a wired keyboard and mouse into the USB ports at the back of the console. Also, if you’re short on ports, you can plug in a USB hub instead and connect your keyboard and mouse to it.

- On your PS5, select the “Settings” gear-shaped icon from the top-left corner to open it.

Using a Keyboard and Mouse With PS5
You can only use the arrow keys to navigate quickly between the menus and settings in the PS5 interface. The rest of the keys help to enter passwords, chatting with friends, or search content on Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, and other apps. Unfortunately, the PS5 doesn’t have a dedicated browser, so you can’t type in website addresses to browse the web.
When it comes to gaming, keyboard and mouse support work only for a few games like Call of Duty: Cold War, Call of Duty: Warzone, Final Fantasy XIV, Overwatch, The Elder Scrolls Online, and a few others. So in those games, at least, you can enjoy precise aim and movements with your keyboard and mouse.
It’s entirely up to game developers to include keyboard and mouse support in future PS5 games. Till that happens or not, enjoy using a keyboard and mouse with some games and getting around the console.
