Huawei P50 Pro unexpectedly powers off or restarts

Configurare noua (How To)

If your phone frequently restarts or automatically powers off (more than three times a day), perform steps 8 and 9 to troubleshoot the issue. If your phone accidentally restarts or powers off, perform the following:

1 Check whether your phone is sufficiently charged
Make sure that your phone has sufficient power. It is recommended that you charge your phone before the remaining battery drops below 20%, as the phone may automatically power off at low battery levels.

Avoid powering on your phone when the battery level is below 3%.

2 Check whether you have accidentally pressed the Power button
Your phone may restart if you have placed it in your pocket or a bag, and the Power button is accidentally pressed for longer than 10 seconds. If you have set a screen timeout, your phone will automatically lock after the set time. Enter the lock screen password to unlock the phone.

3 Check whether the phone is being used in a high- or low-temperature environment
If the ambient temperature is too low or too high, your phone’s protective safeguards will be triggered. Your phone’s battery performs best when the ambient temperature is between 0°C and 35°C.

4 Check whether scheduled power on/off has been set
Open Settings and search for Scheduled power on/off to check whether this feature is enabled.

5 Check whether the storage space on the device is sufficient
Another possible cause is that the device contains too many cache files, and thus has insufficient storage space . It is recommended that you use Phone Manager to clean cache files and uninstall apps that are not frequently used, so that at least 20% of the phone storage is freed up.

6 Remove the memory card
Memory card errors may cause your phone to automatically power off or restart. If you are using a memory card, remove it and check whether the issue has been resolved.

7 Uninstall incompatible software
Installing incompatible apps from non-official channels may also cause your phone to power off or restart. It is recommended that you back up your app data, uninstall apps that were not downloaded from HUAWEI AppGallery, and check if this resolves the issue.
