Instead of negotiating dates and times for meetings, you can propose a day and set your availability times in an email on the Gmail interface.

First, open Gmail, on your computer
- Create or reply to an email;
- At the bottom of your message, click Set up a time to meet;
- Now click Offer times you’re free.
Next select the event duration, on the right
- Click Next;
- Add an event title;
- In the More info box add the event description;
- Click Add to email;
- Now click Send.
When the recipient selects a time for the event, the event is automatically created and added to your calendar.
