With every passing year, we tend to use web applications instead of desktop applications more and more. In order to improve our user experience, we may need our web applications to be directly accessible from our computer’s taskbar, but it may not be always so easy when it comes to Google’s web applications.

We should first make sure that the Google application we need has been already installed from the Google Web Store https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions.
Once installed, we will access chrome://apps in the Google Chrome’s address bar, where all the installed applications will be listed.
Right-click on the application’s shortcut and check Open as window.
Left-click on the shortcut to launch the application, which will show up in your Windows taskbar.
Right-click on the icon in your taskbar and choose Pin to Taskbar.
