Windows 10 21H1 is the first semi-annual feature update that will release during the first half of 2021, but since these rollouts are incremental and are simply known as “Windows 10,” it is difficult to know which version your computer has installed.
Although you won’t find the official name anywhere, every new release of Windows 10 gets assigned a specific version number. In this case, the first major update for 2021 is known as version “21H1,” which reflects the year (21) and part of the year (H2 or half two) to indicate when the feature update will be generally available. If you want to check what version of Windows 10 is installed on your device, you can check this information using the “winver” command and “About” settings page.
