Situatie
Not having internet access can be frustrating, especially when you’re actually connected to your Wi-Fi but your Windows device still refuses to connect. For those times when you’re faced with a ‘no internet, secured’ error, there are a handful of things you can try.
Why Does the “No Internet, Secured” Error Occur?
One of the advantages of Windows 10 is updates are installed automatically. However, there are times when the updates introduce new problems. One of these possible issues is when there’s no internet connection, despite your Windows 10 device being connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Windows updates can be the culprit for this error because installed patches modify the system files and occasionally affect device drivers.

How to Fix a Windows 10 “No Internet, secured” Connection Error
-
Run the Windows Troubleshooter. Press the Windows key to open the Start Menu then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Internet Connections. The troubleshooter will find any problem with the operating system and attempt to solve it.
-
Update or re-install the drivers for the network adapter.
You can always try to roll back a driver before attempting to uninstall and re-install a driver.
-
Disable IPv6 under your network adapter settings.
- Launch Control Panel and select View network status and tasks >Change adapter settings.
- Right-click your network adapter and select Properties.
- Uncheck the IPv6 checkbox, then select OK to apply the settings.
-
Disable and re-enable your network adapter. This ensures your network adapter drivers are loaded and working properly.
-
Restart your computer. A computer restart can solve a lot of problems, but a restart will also ensure that any temporary or cache files are removed. If the problem was related to a cache file the restart will take care of it.
