Sling TV Authorization error 8-12 is a common streaming problem that can occur when opening the Sling TV app on a mobile device, smart TV, or computer. Some users are unable to log into their account, while others encounter a problem when trying to access a channel or stream certain content.

Updating the Sling application
  1. Open the Microsoft Store.
  2. Click on the user icon in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Go to the Settings menu
  4. Activate the Automatic App Update option (under App Update).

Update your browser

You don’t have to install an app to watch content on Sling TV. If you stream content online, make sure you have the latest version of your current browser installed.
