Opening the AR System Administration Console

1. In a browser, go to the following URL address:
   http://<hostName>:<portNumber>/arsys/
2. Log on.
3. Select AR System Administration > AR System Administration Console.

The AR System Administration Console gives you access to many administrator functions in BMC Remedy AR System. The console is part of the AR System Server Administration plug-in, which consists of a library file and a deployable application. (The plug-in is installed as part of the AR System server installation.)

System category

• General— Provides the following links that enable you to configure your server and view server information:
  • Server Information — Used to configure your server. See Configuring AR System servers.
  • Review Statistics — Used to view statistics about the server. See Gathering baseline information.
  • Review Server Events — Used to capture server-related activities and use them in workflow and API programs. See Capturing server events for workflow or API calls.
