Encountering this problem can be confusing at first.You randomly find yourself unable to run the One Drive app and ,naturally,your first thought is to reinstall it but reinstalling does not work either. Well,i have a simple solution that i have tried and fixed the problem for me.
Solutie
You will have to run the registry editor with administrator rights.
Next,go to the following location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\OneDrive
Somehow,the value of the entry named DisableFileSyncNGSC became 1 (one) disabling One Drive from running at all.DisableFileSyncNGSC has to be set to the value of 0 (zero) for One Drive to be re-enabled.
And that is all.You dont even need to restart the computer,the change will take effect right away.
