Situatie
When trying to use system restore, you receive the following error:
Solutie
Navigate to the following location:
C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\SystemRestore
In that directory, rename SR to SR.sav and try to create restore points and check the issue.
If you get the access denied error, follow these steps:
1. Right click on the SystemRestore folder, then choose Properties.
2. Click the Security tab > Advanced > Change > Edit.
3. Type the name of the person you want to give ownership to and click Check Names.
4. The person that you’re giving ownership will have their account displayed in the box, click OK.
5. If you want that person to be the owner of files and subfolders in this folder, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box.
6. Click OK.
