Implicit, Windows Server permite doar 2 sesiuni administrative simultane prin RDP, iar Windows 11/10 permite doar o singură sesiune activă. Pentru un mediu multi-utilizator complet, ai nevoie de rolul Remote Desktop Services (RDS), care transformă serverul într-o gazdă de sesiuni capabilă să deservească zeci sau sute de utilizatori simultan.
1. Cerințe preliminare
- Server Windows (Standard sau Datacenter), alăturat unui domeniu
- Drepturi de administrator pe server
- Licențe CAL pentru RDS (per utilizator sau per dispozitiv) — deja achiziționate
2. Instalarea rolurilor RDS
- Deschide Server Manager → Add Roles and Features
- Alege instalarea Remote Desktop Services
- Selectează tipul de implementare Session-based desktop deployment
- Pentru un singur server, alege opțiunea rapidă (Quick Start)
Wizard-ul va instala automat rolurile: RD Session Host, RDS Connection Broker și RD Licensing. La final, repornește serverul.
3. Activarea serverului de licențiere
Fără licențe CAL ai o perioadă de grație de 120 de zile cu utilizatori nelimitați; după aceea rămân active doar cele 2 sesiuni administrative.
- În Server Manager → Tools > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Licensing Manager
- Click dreapta pe server → Activate Server
- După activare, click dreapta din nou → Install Licenses
- Alege tipul de program de licențiere (Enterprise Agreement, Open License etc.) și introdu numărul de CAL-uri deținute
4. Crearea unei colecții de sesiuni
Aceasta este practic „grupul” de utilizatori care vor fi plasați pe server la conectare.
- În Server Manager → Remote Desktop Services → Collections
- Tasks > Create Sessions Collection
- Denumește colecția (ex: „Sesiuni RDS Generale”)
- Selectează serverul RD Session Host care va găzdui sesiunile
- Adaugă grupurile de utilizatori permise (ex: „Domain Users”)
Poți configura opțional și profiluri de utilizator persistente (User Profile Disks).
5. Ajustarea limitelor de sesiune
- Click dreapta pe colecție → Properties → tab Session
- Setează timpul de inactivitate, regulile de deconectare/reconectare
- În tab-ul Load Balancing, ajustează ponderea dacă ai mai multe servere de sesiuni
Dacă nu ești sigur, lasă valorile implicite la început și monitorizează comportamentul utilizatorilor.
6. Conectarea utilizatorilor
Utilizatorii se conectează prin Remote Desktop Connection, introducând numele complet al Connection Broker-ului (ex: rdsbroker.domeniultau.local) — nu al unui server anume — astfel încât broker-ul să gestioneze automat plasarea sesiunilor.
Notă rapidă: pentru monitoare multiple în timpul unei sesiuni RDP, folosește comanda mstsc /multimon sau bifează opțiunea Use all my monitors din tab-ul Display al clientului RDP.

On July 8, Meta launched Muse Image, an AI image generator now built into Meta AI, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It can do the typical text-to-image generative trick, but one feature in particular is causing controversy: Anyone can mention (@) a public Instagram account inside the Meta AI app, and it will use that account’s photos as the basis of an AI-generated image.
If your Instagram account is public, you’re opted into this by default. In other words, other people can feed your photos into their prompts to build event invitations, mockups, or whatever else they can think up, and you won’t even get a notification when they do. The same goes for your reels and feed videos. Anything’s up for grabs.
Private accounts are left out entirely, so what you post there remains off-limits to Muse Image. But if you’d rather keep a public profile and still block any sort of AI reuse, there’s a dedicated setting to achieve it. It’s worth changing now, because anything created before you opt out won’t be deleted afterwards.
