To enable the new Office 2021 and Microsoft 365 user interface

Use these steps:

1. Open Word (or any Office app).

2. Click on File.

3. Click on Account.

4. Under the “Product information” section, click the “Office Updates” menu and select the Update Now option. Update Office

5. After the update applies, re-open an Office 2021 app.

6. Click the Trumpet icon next to window controls.

7. Turn on the Try the new experience toggle switch under the “Coming Soon” flyout.

8. Restart the app

Once you complete the steps, the Office experience will start using the new Windows 11 inspired interface.
