Right click on the start button and press run
Type in “spool” and then ok and a new window will open
Access the “drivers” folder and once there use the search function and type “printconfig.dll”
Right click and copy the one with “32X86\3” in the path name.
After the file is copied,press the “up to” arrow once.
After that you see a list of folders looking like this:
Select the first folder named “3” and right click + pasteor ctrl + v to paste the printconfig.dll in that folder. That will solve the printer configuration error 0x8007007e.
