Worried about losing your data from a Google document?

1. In Google Drive or in G: open your file (Google Doc, Sheet or Slide).
2. Click File -> Version history -> See version history.
3. Click a timestamp to see a previous version of the file. Below the timestamp, you’ll see:
- Names of people who edited the document.
- You will see a color ??? next to each person’s name. The edits they made appear in that color.
4. To revert to the desired version, select it and click Restore this version.
