If you don’t have immediate, physical access to your iPhone, you can erase it remotely with iCloud. Erasing an iPhone using iCloud is just like doing this when your phone has been stolen. Here’s what to do:

Go to iCloud.com and login with the Apple ID used on the phone you want to erase.
Click Find iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen and then click the iPhone you want to erase.
Click Erase iPhone and follow the onscreen prompts.
