How to encode files with Total Commander

You want to convert files to encoded files (for example MIME, UUEncode, XXEncode) for sending by email.

You will follow the steps bellow.

Not necessary.

Select the file that you want to encode:

Select Encode File (MIME, UUE, XXE)… from Files menu:

In the new window select destination folder (for example c:Encode testing), select encode mode (for example MIME) and click OK button:

Confirm that the encoding process is done:

If you want to decode the file, with Total Commander utility, open Decode File (MIME, UUE, XXE, BinHex)… from Files menu:

Select the location where the encoded file will be decoded and rename it if necesary:

Confirm the decoding process:

The decode process can be done also with other programs for example Wincode.
