Situatie
Logitech have released a portable tool for configuring most mice (from their gaming range) called Onboard Memory Manager. This can be obtained from the Support or Downloads page for relatively recent products, from the G102/203 models up to the G502x. Although it has most of the facilities present in G HUB, firmware updates cannot be done with OMM.
Solutie
- On the Product’s Support page in the Downloads category select the Windows 10 or 11 operating system. After the result is displayed, select Download Now.
- Run the application to configure the mouse; if we encounter problems when running it check Unblock and Apply from properties for the executable file.
- We can configure (up to 5 profiles on certain models) various properties such as DPI, key mapping or report rate. On old systems we can choose a report rate of 250 or 500Hz. Also, this can help improve battery life on laptops (can even turn off lights using black).
By right-clicking on one of the DPI values we can set the default value when connecting the mouse (marked by the full yellow diamond, the other symbol corresponds to the DPI Shift function (if it was already assigned)) according to our preferences.
