In some situations, we need to make changes in the registry editor at addresses that are implicitly inaccessible. Such an example can be seen in the following screenshot:
To gain access, we will need to run regedit as the “system” user – we have chosen the nirsoft AdvancedRun utility because the reputation of the creator shows a high degree of trust, including due to his long presence on the Internet.
Solutie
- Download, extract and run AdvancedRun from the manufacturer’s website, select Run As SYSTEM User, and for Program to Run type or paste %windir%\regedit.exe:

- If the application could be run successfully, we can notice the appearance of new sub-folders:
Note: This tool is not necessary for creating publicly undocumented registry values/keys as they can be used by applications/drivers/etc even if they did not exist initially.
