Step 1 — Start the installation normally from USB or DVD

Boot from the installation media, select your language, accept the terms, choose “Custom: Install Windows Only”, and install on your desired partition. Continue until you reach the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen.

Step 2 — Open Command Prompt with Shift + F10

On the network screen, press Shift and F10 simultaneously. A Command Prompt window will open on top of the installation interface.

Step 3 — Run the bypass command

Type the command below and press Enter:

OOBE\BYPASSNRO

The computer will restart automatically. You will return to the language selection screen — go through the initial steps again.

Step 4 — Select “I don’t have internet” when the network screen appears again

This time, an “I don’t have internet” option will appear in the bottom-left corner. Click it, then click “Continue with limited setup” on the next screen.

Step 5 — Create your local user account

Enter a username and password. Windows 11 will require 3 security questions for password recovery — choose them carefully and write down the answers.

Step 6 — Finish the installation and connect to the internet once inside Windows

Go through the remaining privacy options, accept or decline each setting, and you will reach the desktop with an active local account. You can now connect via cable or Wi-Fi to install drivers and updates.

Tip: To add a Microsoft account later without reinstalling Windows, go to Settings → Accounts → Your info → Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. Your local account and existing data are preserved.
